PRESCHOOL CLASSES

Our preschool classes are designed to provide children with developmentally appropriate activities that are geared for children in 3 different age groups. The playgroups are for children who are 2 years, seven months by September 15. That is the minimum age for entrance as stated by the state’s private academic school board. Children must be 3 for the 3/4 year old program or 4 for the Pre-K program on or before September 1.  Depending on the age of your child, you can choose from the following options.​

Playgroup  2 1/2 - 3 Year Olds​

This small group of eight is usually your child's first introduction to group play and a class schedule. Besides social interaction, the children are exposed to stories, music, art and physical activities in a gentle, nurturing atmosphere.

The children are encouraged to use creativity and imagination as they learn. In groups of 12, the children develop socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Activities proceed at the maturity level dictated by each particular class. The Christian based class will also incorporate Bible stories and songs with more of a Christian emphasis in the curriculum.

These classes of 16 are created to meet the needs of the preschool child who plan to enter kindergarten the following September. We build on previously learned skills, and emphasize kindergarten readiness skills. The Christian based class  incorporates Bible stories and songs with more of a Christian emphasis in the curriculum.
